Missions
As a congregation Cory Zion Church supports several teams of missionaries – local and abroad. Our desire is to reach out into our community and around the world with the love of Jesus Christ.
Tom & Lily Bogle, Wycliffe Bible Translators, have been serving since 1996, using the gifts God has given them to further the work of Bible translation. Tom helps to develop computer software used by field linguists and Bible translators. He actively develops, maintains and supports software to help people thrive in the languages they value. Lily manages the Boutique at JAARS, a free store that provides free clothing, household items, books, etc. for missionaries. Tom and Lily have 2 daughters, Joylily and Amy, and have also parented several foster children.

Jared & Anna Odle and Family, Mission Resources International – Jared, Anna, and their family re-entered the mission field after serving 3 years as pastor of Cory Zion Church. They currently work in Ghana, West Africa with MRI, where Jared serves as Vice President. Their mission is to start and grow churches while working with the local residents to stimulate economic growth in rural and urban communities. In addition to helping operate a development program to process shea nuts into shea butter with residents, they also assist small businesses in the undeveloped areas thru small loan programs and give benevolently to struggling residents.

Cradles of Clay County depends on the financial and volunteer assistance of churches, clubs, and community to support young student parents as they finish high school, pursue further education, and/or seek to improve life opportunities to become self-sustaining citizens. They do this by providing developmentally appropriate childcare, training to improve basic and parenting/life skills, and mentoring to develop healthy family units. https://www.cradlesofclaycounty.com/
Compassion International is a Christ-centered, church-based and child-focused organization that partners with local churches for a long-term approach to help children escape poverty and fully develop into responsible and fulfilled adults. They do this by providing medical care, education, life skills, ongoing Christian training, food and supplements, and even physical protection from crime and violence.
Cory Zion currently sponsors a young girl from Indonesia named Ayu (see picture). In addition, several of our members sponsor other children privately.
